Job Overview

  • As an Events Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and executing various events, ensuring seamless coordination from conception to completion.
  • This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and stakeholders.
  • The Events Project Coordinator will work closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful and memorable events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives, goals, and requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Arrange and coordinate logistics of all materials for each event set up.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and vendors throughout the event planning process.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, changes, and potential issues.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, and production, to align event activities with overall company objectives.
  • Oversee on-site activities to ensure the smooth execution of events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators and gather feedback from stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A B.Sc or HND holder in any field
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
