Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
- Planning, preparing and analyzing local
state and federal tax returns for organizations
- Improves companies' internal controls for
recording and tracking income, property taxes and other information.
- Provides advice on information reporting
and withholding tax matters
- Build relationships and interact with
clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
- Provide innovative tax planning and review
complex income tax returns
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Coordinate accounting staff and assess
their performance
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance
process
- Improve processes by developing or
implementing best practices
- Manage and coordinate tax audits
Qualifications
and Requirements
- A minimum of First Degree in Accounting or
Finance
- Knowledgeable in national professional
matters on taxes
- Must have 8 - 10 gears experience as a
qualified accountants
- Possess relevant work experience in Tax
Regulatory and People services
- Should have experience working with
financial accountant and reporting standards such as International
Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Must have project and people management,
technical acumen and oral and written communication skills.
