Job Summary
Transportation of Personnel:
- Drivers are responsible for transporting employees, contractors, and other personnel to and from the mining site, offices, and other relevant locations.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers during transportation
Material Transport:
- Transporting mining equipment, machinery, and raw materials to and from the mining site.
- Ensuring that materials are delivered on time and in a safe manner.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance checks on assigned vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly to the maintenance department
Compliance with Regulations:
- Adhering to all traffic rules and regulations to ensure safe and legal transportation.
- Ensuring that the vehicle's documentation, including licenses and permits, is up-to-date and in compliance with relevant laws.
Emergency Response:
Being prepared to respond to emergencies, such as accidents or breakdowns, and following company protocols for reporting and handling such situations.
Communication:
Maintaining effective communication with the logistics or dispatch team to coordinate transportation schedules and any changes that may arise.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Resident within the locations
- Have understanding of road network system
- Have minimum of 4 years of professional driving experience
