Job Overview
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Engineer to join a team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the sales of solar energy solutions by engaging with clients, understanding their energy needs, and presenting tailored solar solutions.
- The Solar Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in promoting renewable energy adoption and contributing to the growth of our organization.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
- Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their energy requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility of solar installations and gather essential data.
Solar Solution Design:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design customized solar energy solutions based on client needs and site conditions.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, including system layouts, specifications, and financial analyses.
Sales and Negotiation:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct negotiations with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring a clear understanding of the proposed solar solutions.
Technical Expertise:
- Stay abreast of the latest solar technologies, industry trends, and government incentives to effectively communicate the benefits of solar energy to clients.
- Provide technical support to clients and address any technical inquiries during the sales process.
Project Coordination:
- Work closely with project managers and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the installation process and address any post-installation concerns.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about competitors and industry developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in solar sales or a similar technical sales role.
- Strong understanding of solar technologies, energy systems, and related regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary Range
- N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
